The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Monday issued its decision in the Department of Energy’s September 29 proposal on grid reliability and resilience pricing.
The FERC said it would direct operators of the regional wholesale power markets to provide information as to whether FERC and the markets need to take additional action on resilience of the bulk power system.
PJM Interconnection’s initial response to the FERC order is:
“PJM has been working on both resilience and energy price formation initiatives as a means to address the important topics that both DOE and FERC have addressed in this docket. We will continue to work on both issues and look forward to working with the commission and stakeholders on these important issues going forward.”
