PJM’s Annual Meeting begins today, May 15, and runs until Wednesday, May 18 in Chicago.
General Session, Tuesday, May 16
The session will celebrate PJM’s 90th anniversary and 20th year as a regional transmission organization.
Craig Glazer, vice president – Federal Government Policy, will present the first 70 years – PJM’s formative years–and its role in the growth of the industry.
Suzanne Daugherty, senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, will lead a panel discussion on the evolution of PJM as an RTO and as an industry leader. Panelists include former Chief Executive Officers Terry Boston and Phillip Harris, as well as current president and CEO Andy Ott.
The session’s third panel will look to the future. Denise Foster, vice president – State and Member Services, will lead a discussion on what might be on the horizon for the industry and potential implications for PJM and its stakeholders. The panelists include representatives from member companies in each of the sectors.
Members Committee Meeting, Wednesday, May 17
In addition to the regular Members Committee meeting business, Ott will open the meeting with the “State of PJM” remarks.
Stu Bresler, senior vice president – Operations and Markets, will present the year in review for Operations and Markets and Vince Duane, senior vice president – General Counsel, Law, Compliance and External Relations, will give the year in review for Member Relations and federal/state policies.
Tom O’Brien, senior vice president and chief information officer, will discuss PJM information technology infrastructure enhancements and the response to recent phishing attempts. Rebecca Carroll, director – Member Relations, will present member feedback improvements and the upcoming stakeholder survey.
