PJM’s Data Viewer tool has been updated to include graphs that visualize emissions information for the region PJM serves.
Data Viewer now includes graphs that display data for carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions for the PJM footprint, pulling information from PJM’s Data Miner tool.
The new emissions section of Data Viewer includes three displays at the RTO level:
- Marginal emissions, graphed at 5-minute intervals
- Average hourly emissions
- Total emissions versus load, graphed in hourly intervals
PJM’s marginal emissions and average hourly emissions graphs are also currently available on the PJM website and PJM Now app.
What Is Data Viewer?
- Data Viewer is PJM’s tool that allows users to view PJM operational and market data graphically.
- Signed-in users can customize their My Data Viewer panels to view the information that is important to them, including size and position of each panel.
