PJM Interconnection’s Lori Murphy Lee, Manager – Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, has been appointed by Delaware Governor John Carney to serve on his Energy Advisory Council.
Delaware’s Energy Advisory Council will identify and advise the governor and state legislature on federal, state and regional energy issues impacting Delaware and recommend actions and policies responsive to those issues.
“I appreciate Governor Carney appointing me, and I am proud to serve on his Energy Advisory Council,” Lee said. “This body will do great work to support Delaware’s energy policies.”
A native of Washington, D.C., Lori Murphy Lee served as a Commissioner for the District of Columbia Public Service Commission from 2009 to 2012 and was a Board member of the Organization of PJM States, the Mid-Atlantic Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissions and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. She previously spent more than a decade as a senior attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. Lee earned a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
