Philly Chamber Appoints Asthana to Executive Committee


PJM Interconnection President and CEO Manu Asthana has been appointed to the executive committee of the board of The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, effective Oct. 15.

Asthana’s appointment to the executive committee continues his service on the organization’s board of directors, which began in 2020.

The Chamber announced Asthana’s appointment Sept. 26 along with the news that Michael Innocenzo, President and CEO of PECO, will serve as the next board chair, beginning in October.

Besides Asthana, the Chamber also appointed seven additional new executive committee members: David Burkavage, EY; John Fry, Drexel University; Michael Heller, Cozen O’Conner; Amy Loftus, Slalom; Liz Magill, University of Pennsylvania; Jordan Rambo, Accenture; and Angela Val, Visit Philadelphia.

PJM Interconnection, based in Valley Forge, PA, is the nation’s largest grid operator and directs the flow of power for a 13-state region that includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
