Dec. 20 Update
PJM sent the following message to PJM members on Dec. 19:
The 2024/2025 Base Residual Auction Results posting will be delayed. PJM will post the auction results as soon as possible and will provide notice of when the results will be posted at least one business day in advance.

PJM Interconnection opened the bidding window today, Dec. 7, for its auction to procure capacity for the June 2024 to May 2025 Delivery Year.
The bidding window will close on Dec. 13, and results will be reported on Dec. 20.
PJM’s capacity market, called the Reliability Pricing Model, ensures long-term grid reliability by securing the appropriate amount of power supply resources needed to meet predicted energy demand on a three-year-forward basis.
The 2024/2025 Auction was scheduled to take place in May 2021, but auctions had been suspended while FERC considered approval of new capacity market rules.
