PJM Interconnection opened the bidding window today, June 30, for its auction to procure capacity for the June 2028 to May 2029 Delivery Year.
The bidding window will close on July 7, and results will be reported on July 14 after 4 p.m. Eastern.
PJM’s capacity market, called the Reliability Pricing Model, secures the appropriate amount of power supply resources needed to meet predicted energy demand ahead of the delivery year.
