PJM has released a major update to PJM Now, PJM’s iPhone and Android app to track operational data in real time, which makes it easier for users to receive alerts and track pricing trends.
PJM Now includes an interactive locational marginal pricing map where users can see LMP prices by zone, demand curve graphs to view demand by the hour and a way to see how power flows in and out of the region PJM serves. With its latest update:
- Users can now view operating reserves and dispatched reserves from the “more” link on the navigation bar.
- Using 3D Touch, iOS users can access a menu from the PJM Now home screen icon that provides direct access to alerts and PJM.com, and the ability to share the app.
- Users will now receive special messages from PJM when conditions require that users and members be aware.
