Reminder: PJM GridAdvance Summit One Month Away

95

PJM’s inaugural GridAdvance Summit is set to take place on Oct. 15 at the PJM Conference & Training Center and virtually. Centered on the theme “Applying AI to the RTO,” the summit will bring together industry leaders, stakeholders and technology innovators to explore practical applications of artificial intelligence in planning, operations and reliability.

The event is designed to move beyond industry trends and focus on actionable use cases that can help address some of the grid’s most complex challenges while supporting reliability, affordability and operational efficiency across the RTO.

The program includes a keynote presentation, an executive leadership discussion and three in-depth panel sessions focused on critical areas where AI may have the greatest impact:

  • Keynote Address by Le Xie, PJM Board Member and cofounder of the Power and AI Initiative at Harvard University, on the current state of AI technology and its value proposition for power systems
  • COO Fireside Chat featuring Stu Bresler (PJM) and Emilie Nelson (NYISO)
  • Panel Session 1: From Queue to Connection: Rethinking Planning With AI
  • Panel Session 2: Innovation vs. Risk: Deploying AI in a Reliability-First Environment
  • Panel Session 3: Control Room 2030: Moving From Situational Awareness to Situational Intelligence

The summit will feature participants and panelists from organizations including SPP, MISO, Tapestry, EPRI, NERC, ERCOT, GE Vernova, Dominion, CAISO, Constellation and Siemens.

Register here to secure your spot in person or virtually by Oct. 1. In-person attendance is intended for innovation and technology leaders, practitioners and professionals who are actively engaged in advancing AI, digital transformation and grid modernization initiatives. PJM encourages these audiences to join us on-site to maximize opportunities for collaboration, networking and interactive discussion. A virtual attendance option is also available for individuals who are interested in the content but do not require an in-person experience.
